Personalized Treatment Starts Here

Medication isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we offer GeneSight® Testing—a genetic test that helps determine how your body may respond to certain psychiatric medications.

With a simple cheek swab, GeneSight analyzes your DNA to provide insight into how you metabolize medications commonly prescribed for depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health conditions.

This tool allows us to take a more personalized, evidence-based approach to your treatment plan, helping to reduce the frustrating trial-and-error process and improve outcomes.

GeneSight testing may be a good option if you:
✔️ Have tried multiple medications with limited success
✔️ Experienced difficult side effects
✔️ Are starting psychiatric medication for the first time

Let's talk to see if GeneSight testing is right for you. Together, we can create a treatment plan that’s tailored to your unique genetic makeup.

If you are a new patient interested in GeneSight® Testing simply call, email or message me to schedule an initial visit. During that initial visit the testing can also be done. A follow up appointment will be scheduled to review the results in approximately one and a half to two weeks.

You can learn more about Genesight Testing here: https://genesight.com

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

I am currently in a network with BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health, United Healthcare (Optum), Oscar (Optum). and Oxford (Optum).

I am actively working to add more insurance panels, so please reach out to see if your insurance plan is in the works, as this changes periodically. I also offer superbills for reimbursement if you want to be seen and have out-of-network benefits.

What are out-of-network (OON) benefits, and what is a superbill?

I am not in-network with every insurance plan and do not bill insurances that I am not in network with for any services provided. However, your insurance may reimburse you for a portion of your visit if you are seen without using your insurance.

Contact your insurer to learn if you have out-of-network benefits. I can provide you with an itemized bill (called a superbill) with the codes used for the visit to submit for reimbursement. *

*Please note that use of an insurance policy requires treatment to be covered, you will be given a mental health diagnosis that meets criteria for medical necessity when submitting to insurance. *

Do you offer virtual visits or face-to-face visits?

I currently offer both telehealth and in-person visits. I can see patients virtually throughout the states of Louisiana, and I also have an office in Houma where I see patients in person. Young children are welcome in the clinic with parents, and the office is a safe space for nursing.

Do you ever see people after hours?

I understand the difficulty to take off work during the day and sometimes the times I am available will not work for you. Don’t hesitate to reach out and I will do my best to accommodate your needs with session availability.
